Draconic Influence (DI) is a stat exclusive to Necklaces, Earrings, and Rings. When the player has Draconic Influence (higher being better) the time needed to capture a dragon is greatly reduced. To check how much Draconic Influence you have, open up the Character window and select "Other Abilities" from the drop down menu on the left side. In the screenshot to the right, the player pictured has 893 Draconic Influence. When the mouse is put over this it will display a percentage, in this case the percentage is 52%. It is recommended to have between 40%-50% Draconic Influence when capturing an ancient dragon.
