Anchored Line was a Rokugani Battlefield Formation devised to prevent the enemy the front line to be broken by the enemy, using a heavy defensive unit known as "the anchor" to protect lighter units behind it. Anchored Line formation was difficult to maintain while moving. Originally created by the Hida family, it was later adopted by the rest of the Clans.
