The Ibanez Destroyer series (DT series) is a series of electric guitars manufactured by Hoshino Gakki, first introduced in 1975. It is based on the Gibson Explorer design. The Destroyer models are also part of the Ibanez X series. Ibanez introduced the X series as a collection of 'extreme' shaped guitars in 1983.
