The Village of the Reinstated Hero (L2) in the Eiyu province was where a promising young samurai by the name of Ikoma Teidei hunted down his daimyo's killer and killed him. After the execution of his daimyo, Teidei became a ronin, and had spent seven years hunting the man responsible. On the spot in this village where Teidei killed the assassin and commited seppuku to join his master stands a shrine, the Shrine of Duty. The village attracted people for this fact alone and the Festival of the Wandering Hero attracted many bushi to the village.
