Balisk was a male Human and a member of the Knights of Zakuul. He and his husband lived on Zakuul, and in 3632 BBY he was assigned as the replacement partner for the Knight Novo, whose previous partner Tanek had died during the pursuit of the Outlander. Novo was determined to hunt down the Outlander for Tanek's death, and so the pair tracked down the Outlander at the Razor in Breaktown and tried to arrest the fugitive, only to be defeated.
