Daniela Filipescu MD, PhD, (born June 24, 1958) is a Romanian anesthesiologist and Associate Professor of Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the University of Medicine “Carol Davila”, and Medical Director of the Emergency Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases “Prof. Dr. C.C. Iliescu” in Bucharest. Filipescu is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Society of Anesthesiology (ESA). Bucharest. Filipescu is also Deputy General Secretary of the Romanian Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
