A Pump unit is a combined pump and power unit that just needs connecting to a feed pipe and a output pipe and fuelling up or being plugged into a power source to be ready to run. They are used in Agriculture for irrigation, slurry and flood control and in construction to dewater sites and tanks or pump water and sewage for temporary diversions of pipes and tunnels. These nits come in sizes from a few hp up to 500 hp plus power units capable of pumping 1000's of liters per hour. Units are available with power units by all the major engine manufacturers.
