Jack Chissick (born 3rd August 1945 in Caerleon, Newport, Gwent) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: in July 2005 as Andrew Audenshaw, the expansive representative of Green Door Hotels who bought the patent to a dynamo-type device invented by Roy Cropper’s grandfather from the café owner, and in January 2017 as Giles Gove, a potential purchaser of the cafe. He has appeared on television since the mid-1970s in programmes such as Angels, Minder, Escape from Sobibor, The Darling Buds of May, The Politician’s Wife and Midsomer Murders.
