He traveled to an unnamed planet and encountered the Sodan Volnek with the Prior informing Volnek that the Solan had committed unforgivable treason against the Ori while vowing that great ill would befall the Sodan too. He used his staff to infect Volnek with Volnek gradually becoming an undead creature who wiped out every single member of the Sodan except for Lord Haikon. (SG1: "Arthur's Mantle")
