Gaya is a character in Harvest Moon 64. She is the mother of Zack, and the grandmother of May. She's May's primary care taker, as her son, Zack, is constantly away on business. She doesn't usually leave her house. She has delivered all of the babies in the village for a long time. She will also come to the player's house when his wife is about to give birth to the baby. Her favorite gift is eggplant. Apparently, back when she was young, it was forbidden for young women to eat eggplant.
