Norman was born within the keep of Garrinhall, and, of note, is technically a noble; he is part of House Garrin, a family descended from landed knights and the Moonlyt Empire's fabled ruler, Garnder Golemont. During his teen years, Norman joined the military at fourteen in early 315 AC, mostly to get away from his family and in search of a more exciting life. By eighteen, he was a novice swordsman but a great archer. Little did the young Norman know, his life was going to change forever just a short few months from his twentieth birthday.
