The First Battle of Reach (Flameslash's Adjusted Timeline) was a minor battle that took place late in the Great War. A small Covenant fleet jumped in system, expecting little resistance. They were easily defeated by the Reach defence fleet and the two Athens-class Supercarriers stationed in orbit of the planet. The Covenant's Assault Carrier quickly retreated and alerted the Covenant to Reach's military power.
