After Sachi's eventual death, she was seperated from her body and had a spirit form, allowing her to ascend into Heaven to find eternal peace. However, she instead chose to stay with Seireitou, unable to bear the thought of ever seeing him again. Soon, at one point in the 1,000-year period that passed, she was ultimately attacked by a Hollow and nearly killed by it, sustaining a heavy shoulder wound. As the Hollow was about to finish her off, a Soul Reaver found and intervened in the fight, taking a mortally wounding blow from the Hollow in the process. However, he was able to weaken the Hollow with his Zanpakuto.
