Ruki Orimoto is the night warrior of the Golden Heart DigiDestined and former member of the DigiDestroyers. She is the daughter of Cynus, a star researcher and Mira, a scientist who researches about the moon. She was with her best friend, Riku Timura, until she accidently uploaded a virus to his laptop, which takes them to the Digital World, allowing a corrupted Zhuqiaomon to corrupt them. Ruki's dream is to be a singer who sings to the moon since she loved beautiful nights. She was once very shy, but when she has her friends with her, she becomes confident. Ruki dresses in Dianamon style, and is often compared to Rika Nonaka from Tamers.
