Mozzarella is a dog that Phoebe borrowed to help cheer up Joey after he becomes upset over his obsession with Rachel. She calls him the happiest dog alive. Joey felt a little comforted and enjoyed playing fetch with him, but after he began to pour his heart out to Mozzarella, the poor dog becomes miserable and Phoebe takes him home. He now belongs to Jasmine.
