In 2013 a code repository was created to make fun of PyLadies. There was public discussion of this action on the BangPypers list, at . Various people called out the script author, Anand Pillai, for the sexism and rudeness of the script and subsequent commentary and for it being an unfair critique of PyLadies Bangalore as well as a violation of the Python foundation's code of conduct. Others defended Pillai's actions. The repo was deleted in September or October 2013.
