The Park is located in the eastern half of the Grand Senora Desert. Physically, it is an arid locale, with very little vegetation. There are rolling hills and numerous trails, as well as lookouts that offer views of the surrounding landscape. The wildlife consists primarily of coyotes and birds, though cougars and boars do occasionally appear. The area also has hosts parking, camping, and picnic areas, while hikers regularly populate the trails. According to several signs, the park is 2,048 feet in elevation.
