Gevork Kasabyan (born September 23, 1963 in Yerevan, Armenia) is an American professional poker player, known for his aggression, risk-taking, and mad reading ability. Of Armenian ancestry, Kasabyan was raised in Yerevan, Armenia, but by the age of nine he was living on his own hustling on the streets, where he attended to night school. He was known for his overall skills in gambling such as Rummy, Craps, and 5 card poker. He later married and moved to Los Angeles, California where he holds winnings of $500,000. Kasabyan is a well known Commerce Casino "shark". He yet has never worked and continues to make a living as a professional poker player.
