The Alliance to Restore the Confederacy was a military rebel alliance officially founded in 4 BBY by Separatist Admiral Trench. Like Mon Mothma's Alliance to Restore the Republic was fighting to bring back the Republic, Trench's Alliance was trying to restore the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Trench used military droids and organic soldiers from some of the Separatist holdouts, plus the late Poggle the Lesser's lieutenant Gizor Dellso and surviving senators from the Separatist Congress, to fight the Empire and its soulless stomtroopers.
