Jamie Riker was an ancestor of William Riker who lived in the 21st century. During World War III, Riker led a Wyoming town against marauding refugees who attempted to raid the town and also survived the high levels of radiation. Only two residents of Riker's town died during the war, both from exposure to a cold winter. Riker himself survived the war and later died of old age. (ST - The Lost Era novel: Deny Thy Father)
