The original Sovereign-class Space Station was given to the Confederacy as a gift from the Isen Star Empire, an empire which later dissolved into civil war. The original design has been reverse engineered and upgraded, but the so-called Eclipse Station is the only Sovereign-class station in existence at this moment.
