The Special Inquisitions Office is a department of the American Wizarding Confederation responsible for carrying out delicate investigations in wizarding America. In the mid-1990's, the Office pursued Abraham Thorn and members of the Thorn Circle; Diana Grimm serves the SIO as a Special Inquisitor, and interviewed Claudia Green, with whom Thorn had a daughter.
