Grelvish refers to Suedo-Elvish phrases, words, or names used in badfic. It comes from a portmanteau of the words "Grey Elvish," from a translation site that creates language based on simplifying Sindarin and Quenya. It should be noted that this site actually is a language page for a role-playing group, the Grey Company, and so it's not deliberately setting out to be an incorrect Elven language reference. Any pretend Elven languages found in fic, especially in The Lord of the Rings, may be called Grelvish. Its use in continua with canonical Elven language(s) constitutes a charge.
