The Areem Corporation Security Droid Mark 2 (also known as ASD-2) was a kind of battle droid, created by the Areem Corporation, that served as patrol and police units as well as personal guards around 17 ABY. During the time of the New Republic these machines were vastly used on different worlds, including its planet of origin.
