Takako was a jeweler who had learned the art from her father. Initially she was unable to work anywhere because of her gender, but eventually a peasant named Shiho recognized her talent and employed her in his silver smithy, the Star of Silver. In a few years Takako's designs were in great demand - not only in Ryoko Owari Toshi, but in Otosan Uchi as well.
