The Program for Advanced International Defense, abbreviated as PAID, is a series of plans that have as a main goal to deploy a missile shield against hostile ICBM's on the Catharinia Isle. The program is an initiative of the People's Republic of Catharinia and is an answer to the installation of US missiles on the Midway Atoll and Wake Isle. The plans for building up such a shield were created in cooperation with Chinese scientists.
