The Przewalski's Wild Horse, Equus ferus przewalskii, is a critically endangered subspecies of wild horse native to the steppes of central Asia. In China, the last indigenous wild przewalski's horses were seen in 1966. Since then, they have been reintroduced to some of their original range. The Przewalski's Wild Horse is available for adoption in Zoo Tycoon following the installation of the downloadable Endangered Species theme pack, and in Zoo Tycoon 2': Endangered Species.
