These drones are a simple set of micro-Cochrane impulse engines mounted onto a unique armored platform capable of stand-alone operation for short-term use. Each drone comes with a mid-grade sensor suite which is more capable than a science probe, but its real use comes with its locking system. These let the drone give excessive maneuverability and extended life-span to an escape pod, hold and launch up to three torpedoes or missiles of a wide variety and use specialized equipment detrimental to a ship's personnel. They can also be used as small tugs.
