The 2008 E-Z-Go 200 was a Craftsman Truck Series event held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on October 25, 2008. Ryan Newman made a thrilling late-race charge on teammate Ron Hornaday, Jr. holding off a side-by-side run by Hornaday on the final circuit and holding on to win in just his first series start. The move hurt Hornaday's championship hopes, as an extra fifteen-point buzzsaw into the points lead of Johnny Benson, Jr. (7th) disappear and left him still 31 points aback with three races to go.
