An area attack is a part of a style that can damage multiple enemies at once. Some slow or paralyze people. Others shock, poison, or immolate people. For example, Dire Flame can immolate people. Ice Shard and Heavenly Wave slows people. For martial styles and weapon styles, they can knock people back and off their feet.
