Kandalee and Clefable first met when they were kids. Kandalee was about to be killed by a Pidgeotto, whose territory she had unintentionally invaded. Cleffa used Pound and then Sweet Kiss on Pidgeotto, who flew away confused. Cleffa stowed away in Kandalee's backpack and lived under her bed from that point on.
