Day of Defeat is a 3-D multiplayer shooter that simulates squad-level infantry combat between the adversaries of World War II's European Theatre; the Allies (United States or Great Britain) and the Axis Powers (Germany). The goal is to complete various mission objectives, varying from capturing flags scattered across the map to the destruction of key objective installations. Players can choose between British or American Allies armies and German Axis armies. In Day of Defeat:Source there are only American Allies and German Axis armies.
