Braem was a city of Coremanda, one of the Ten Nations. It was built by Ogier, but was not the capital. It was destroyed by Shadowspawn during the Trolloc Wars. The modern town of New Braem in Andor is located near its ruins. Braem gave its name to the surrounding extensive forests, which are now known collectively as Braem Wood.
