The Kilbarchan Road estate in Johnstone, near Glasgow was built during the inter war period. Housing on the estate were made up of cottage flats built to the north of Kilbarchan Road and the adjacent scheme of Cartside. Some of these houses were bombed during the war and so there are some post war dwellings in the area around Hagg Road. There are also some Victorian townhouses in the area that predate the estate.
