Burckhardites is a Cretaceous ammonite included in the Deshayesitidae. Its range limited to the Barremian and Aptian stages. Burckhardites is similar to Dufrenoya, compressed with flat sides and venter, but increases in height more rapidly and its ribs are fine and irregular. Burckhardites fossils have been found in Texas, Mexico and Venezuela
