The IBW International Championship was created after James Parker won and retained the Legacy and Adrenaline Championships, during his undefeated streak. IBW Officials merged the championships into one in September of 2015. Many believe that James Parker would have been champions for a long time if IBW General Manager Charlie Schafer hadn't stripped him of the title and given it to Harlem Halladay during King of the Ring of that year.
