The Subterranean Control Room is a room in the Biosphere in Metroid: Other M. Here, Samus Aran faces two Ghalmanians. The room also features a Navigation Booth, and then another chamber with three FG-1000s. Destroying them earns Samus the Diffusion Beam, and opens up a blast door blocking a Terminal, which activates a door earlier on. Before Samus can activate it in peace, she has two Fly Pods to take down. After making it back to the main chamber, Samus has the Fune and Namihe to fight before she is free. The room is nearby the Scrap Block.
