The Palazzo Azzurro was a hotel and casino in Atlantic City that was owned by the Corleone family. In 1979, it was chosen as the site for the Commission meeting for Michael Corleone's to announce his departure from organized crime. Shortly after Michael's announcement, a helicopter piloted by Joey Zasa's men attacked the penthouse, killing many of the dons inside.
