The USS Enterprise NCC-1701 arrived at the Genesis Planet! Aboard the ship were Admiral James T. Kirk, Dr. Leonard McCoy (who had Spock's katra), Commander Montgomery Scott, Commander Hikaru Sulu, Commander Pavel Chekov, and the 7 Guardian Warriors! They were on a mission to rescue Captain Spock, who had been resurrected by the Genesis Wave! Commander Kruge's Klingon Bird of Prey decloaked! The Enterprise fired two torpedoes on Kruge's ship, damaging it! 3 members of Kruge's crew and Kruge's pet targ were killed! The Bird of Prey fired back and knocked out the Enterprise's automation system! Commander Kruge told Admiral Kirk that he had 3 prisoners and that if he did not surrender, he would execute them one at a time as enemies of Galactic Peace! Kruge allowed Kirk to speak to the prisoner
