Dark horses are high-level monsters from the Horse race found in Elona+. Like most horses, their corpse grants 100 experience to constitution when eaten and they grant a bonus to speed when mounted. Aside from having a fairly high breeding power for their level on account of the Horse race, they're not terribly noteworthy.
