Nigel Bates is reeling over being dumped by Debbie Tyler. Frank Butcher comes to the car lot to find that Aidan Brosnan and Mandy Salter are sleeping rough in the portakabin. He throws them out. They say Ricky Butcher gave them the key. Frank then catches Aidan trying to break into the derelict No 5 Albert Square. Aidan says Frank wont be able to do anything when they get in. Frank says they have to get past him first. However later on Aidan wins over Frank when he gets into the derelict house and him and Mandy have somewhere to live. Gita Kapoor is not happy about the history between her, Sanjay Kapoor and Richard Cole. Tricky Dicky reminds Gita that one night she turned up on his doorstep after a row with Sanjay and she asked him to hold her. He uses this to get her to keep quiet.
