Chobham 2.0 is an arena combat robot. Built January 2012, Chobham 2.0 has a uniquely enhanced battle armor made from polypropylene fibers coated with a rubberized compound. This armor is the first of its kind for a combat robot. The armor is call Chobham (hence the name) and gets its naming origin from the Chobham armor found on the M1 Abrams US military tank. Another unique feature of the robot is its ability to adjust or change weapons between battles to match its opponents weaknesses. Robots first major appearance was at the Motorama 2012 Robot Conflict.
