Nelson Aldrich Rockefeller was born on July 8, 1908. He was elected president of the Second North American Republic in November 1978 and assumed the presidency on January 4, 1979. On January 26, it appears he suffered from a heart attack and died, making his presidency the shortest of any North American president. However, many claim he was murdered, probably under orders of Spiro Theodore Agnew.
