The Harfy was a dark gray- green barrel cactus of semiarid regions. It usually grew about 15" tall and wide; it had 2" thorns, bright red 3" flowers with yellow centers, and delicious dark red fruit. When applied, the resin from its succulent stem immediately stopped all forms of bleeding.
