The Decepticon stronghold of Kaon is a city-state largely lit by an eerie vermillion glow from below. Dark skyscrapers reach for the sky like narrow teeth along the perimeter, and in the center is the city of Kolkular, a raised cliff that flares at the surface. Kaon is widely considered to be a thuggish and dangerous city. The main source of popular entertainment in Kaon is a gladiatorial pit. Some vorns ago, however, Kaon had a more cultured and erudite populace. Some remnants of this culture still remain, such as the Kaon Opera House and the prestigious Kaon Enerwine Academy.
