The Pawnee Library Department, directed by Ron's ex-wife Tammy 2, runs the libraries in Pawnee. The employees are known to be arrogant and manipulative, referred to as 'Punkass Book Jockies' by those in the Parks Department. Leslie declared it a "diabolical, ruthless bunch of bureaucrats", much to the confusion of Ann Perkins. The department placed a planning claim for Lot 48, which Leslie has been working to turn into a park. The department is stationed at the Pawnee Public Library.
