Raised on the Veldt by monsters, Quief is the son of a mad man who tossed him out into the weird after his wife died. He helped defeat the evil Kefka... mostly by keeping out of the way of the other, more powerful characters he fought with. Alex ranks him in the same category as Edward the Bard. Poor, poor Quief.
