Luglug was the Log-a-Log of Guosim, and the father of Osbil. He was named for his large ears, or lugs. Luglug was first introduced when Mad Maudie needed transportation down the River Moss. He came to her aid, welcoming her aboard his logboats. Luglug also helped slay an adder that captured a shrewbabe named Dupper, although the owl Asio Bardwing was killed. The shrew was killed by a Brownrat arrow from Stringle while trying to rescue another Guosim shrewbabe, Yik. His son Osbil succeeded him.
