The GDI officer corps is a highly expansive and developed segment of GDI. They serve on the front lines and as command staff, and ever since the First Tiberium War, served an important role in the Global Defense Initiative armed forces and have better training than enlisted soldiers. During the First Tiberium war, GDI officers served on the frontlines (mostly NCOs), where they had the authority to call in reinforcements as well as command staff. Captain Duncan is a notable officer.
