The Ferron Holocron was created close to a thousand years ago by a powerful Force user. The holocron was created in order to store the knowledge and lore of this Force user. Over time, the Force user himself turned to the Dark side and began secreting away powerful amounts of knowledge into the construct. It was then that the first attempt on the holocron was made. Deciding that he needed to find a way to protect the holocron, the now full fledged Dark sider searched out a number of beings in the galaxy to help him craft the perfect vessel for the holocron. Eventually the Dark sider settled on utilizing Mandalorian Iron and kidnapped a Mandalorian well versed in crafting and working with beskar.
